Penny Harrison

Penny Harrison is a children’s author, book reviewer and lifestyle journalist. Her debut picture book Me and My Boots was a CBCA Early Childhood Book of the Year Notable, and her most recent story 18 Summers was released in 2023 to great acclaim. Penny has contributed to a variety of leading magazines, newspapers, guides and books, writing about everything from raising toddlers to raising chickens. ​Penny lives on Wurundjeri Country in a rambling old garden on the edge of the Yarra Valley with her husband and two children.

Sylvia Morris

Sylvia Morris is an emerging illustrator from Kaurna Country in Adelaide. Morris’ debut picture book The Best Hiding Place, written by Jane Godwin, came out in 2022 and was shortlisted for the CBCA Award for Best New Illustrator. Sylvia works with several Australian publishers on picture books and book covers. She also contributes regularly to The School Magazine. Sylvia currently lives in Marburg, Germany.
