Raising Literacy Australia is a South Australian-based not-for-profit dedicated to improving children’s neurodevelopment through early language and literacy initiatives.
Our universal and targeted programs provide reading packs, picture books, training and resources to support families, carers and early childhood educators in nurturing children’s development in the early years.
Through Little Book Press, we publish high-quality picture books created with Australian authors, illustrators and early childhood experts to make reading accessible, engaging and developmentally meaningful for young children and their families.
Proudly not-for-profit
To date, Raising Literacy Australia has gifted over 1.85 million books to children, parents, caregivers and educators across the country. And we continue working toward our vision that every child thrives in the early years with a strong foundation for lifelong learning and opportunity.
All proceeds from Little Book Press sales directly support our work, breaking cycles of disadvantage and delivering integrated language and literacy support to children, families and communities.
