Penny Harrison

Penny Harrison is a children’s author, book reviewer and lifestyle journalist.

Her debut picture book Me and My Boots was a CBCA Early Childhood Book of the Year Notable, and her most recent story 18 Summers was released in 2023 to great acclaim.

Penny has contributed to a variety of leading magazines, newspapers, guides and books, writing about everything from raising toddlers to raising chickens.

Penny lives on Wurundjeri Country in a rambling old garden on the edge of the Yarra Valley with her husband and two children.
