Submissions

Little Book Press are currently accepting picture book submissions.

To share your story with us, please email submissions@littlebookpress.com.au.

We will review your submission within three months, however, due to the large volume of proposals, we are only able to reply to successful authors. If you don’t hear from us within the three months, your story isn’t quite right for our list, and we wish you all the best in your search for a publisher.

Before you send your story, please ensure:

• you are a citizen or resident of Australia
• the following information is in the body of your email:
  • Name
  • Your home state or territory
  • A 50-word pitch for your story
  • A 50-word biography
• your story is attached as a word document
• your story is no more than 500 words.

If you are an illustrator, we are happy to receive digital samples of your work at submissions@littlebookpress.com.au. Before sending your artwork, please ensure:

• you are a citizen or resident of Australia
• the following information is in the body of your email:
  • Name
  • Your home state or territory
  • A 50-word biography
  • Links to your social media and/or website
• your pictures are attached as pdfs or jpegs.
