Brent Wilson

Brent Wilson is a Brisbane-based illustrator with a style he describes as ‘contemporary, but with a retro aesthetic’. His bold, colourful illustrations can be found in picture books, magazines and advertising campaigns alike. Wilson’s debut in children’s book illustration was the acclaimed Koalas Like To…, a finalist in the 2021 ABDA Awards for Best Designed Children’s Illustrated Book. Wilson’s charming characters also leap off the pages of Pauline Deeves’ Get Me Out of Here! Foolish and Fearless Convict Escapes and Trent Jamieson’s Mr Impoppable.
