Anna McGregor

Anna McGregor is an award-winning author, illustrator and designer of picture books with humour and heart. In 2020, Anna's first picture book Anemone is not the Enemy was named an Honour Book at the CBCA Awards. Her second book A Pair of Pears and an Orange was a CBCA Notable title, and Who's Afriad of the Dark – Anna's latest picture book, published in 2023 – has been shortlisted for the Victorian Premier's Literature Awards. Anna calls Naarm/Melbourne home and lives with her Argentine husband and their young son.
