Kylie Covark

Kylie has a background in human rights law and has worked with a variety of communities over the years, helping people to understand and advocate for their own rights. Through this work, Kylie has become passionate about the power of education and stories. She believes everyone should have access to quality books, especially kids! Kylie now teaches at the Adelaide Law School, has three young children, and shares her love of reading and writing with people of all ages. ‘Tilly’s First Day Twist’ is Kylie’s second picture book.

Robin Tatlow-Lord

Robin Tatlow-Lord is a picture book illustrator, writer and cartoonist based in Adelaide. Robin works from her home studio, eternally trying to keep her tabby cat Winnie from sitting on the fancy paper. When she’s not drawing, you might find Robin riding her bike or zooming around the roller derby track. She also works in arts education. Robin was shortlisted for the CBCA Award for New Illustrator in 2021 and Tilly’s First Day Twist is her second picture book.
